Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

The eighth album by the British rock band The Beatles is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It is recognized as the most prestigious album of all time by all publications. It was recorded in a period of 129 days. Started on 6th December 1966 it was released on 1st June 1967 in UK and the following day in US. In 2003 the Rolling Stone ranked it the greatest album of all time. In the usual manner all songs were written and composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It includes “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band” and of length 2:02, “With A Little Help from My Friends” of 2:44, “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” that lasts for3:28, “Getting Better” that lasts for 2:47, “Fixing a Hole: of length 2:36, “She’s Leaving Home” of length 3:35, “Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite!” that lasts for 2:37, “Within You and Without You” is by George Harrison that lasts for 5:05, “When I’m Sixty-Four” is of length 2:37, “Lovely Rita” of length 2:42, “Good Morning Good Morning” of length 2:41, “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band” reprised that lasts for 1:18 and the lead vocals for this track are McCartney with Harrison and Lennon, and finally “A Day in the Life” which is of length 5:33. This bagged many awards including Best Album of the Year, Best Album Cover, and Best Arrangements of Instruments Accompanying Vocalists, etc.
