Let it be

The twelfth and the final album of The Beatles is Let It Be. It was released in the year 1970 on 8th May by the band’s Apple Label. The tracks were recorded even before Abbey Road but for some reasons Abbey was released first. This is the soundtrack of the motion picture of the same name. This is a documentary movie of the band rehearsing and recording the album. The rehearsal and the recording of the album weren’t smooth because of the increased bitterness among the four members of the Beatle. The intention of the movie was to show the making of an album instead it went on showing the breaking of the band. The four Beatles were severely arguing throughout the production and it was George Harrison who first departed from the band. Let It Be was considered as the weakest album of the band and the magazine Rolling Stone placed it in the 86th position among 500 greatest albums of all time. The twelve tracks of the album includes “Two of Us”, “Dig a Pony”, “Across the Universe”, “I Me Mine”, “Dig It”, Let It Be”, “Maggie Mae”, “I’ve Got a Feeling”, “One After 909”, “The Long and Winding Road”, “For You Blue” and “Get Back”.
